TANYO tools: jigs that measure once, kit that rides along

A good jig does the measuring so you only drill. TANYO makes aluminium jigs and templates for cabinets, shelves and stairs, dogs and clamps for a 3/4 inch bench, and a small road kit — inflator, vacuum, locks — that keeps your ride ready.

Notes from owners

“Awesome tool!!”

Great product, well made parts, and very easy to use. I do home remodeling for a living and do flooring very often, including installing LVP on stairs. This product has been a HUGE time saver, while helping me make tighter cuts so the planks fit tightly to the walls that are never straight. The adjustability is priceless. It's paid for itself 10x already. I'd highly recommend this to any professional flooring installer or even to any DIY'er who is planning to do their own stairs.

“Should work great.”

This seems like it will do a good job. It's square when put together and seems like it works well. The only thing I'd change would be a longer "crossbar", so you could use it easier on larger width drawers. But it still works, you just have to center it manually instead of using the side stop.

“Good, Reliable Jig for Shelf Pins and Hinges”

The TANYO 2‑in‑1 Shelf Pin and Hinge Jig works well and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The 1/4‑inch adjustable guide makes drilling consistent shelf pin holes pretty simple, and the hinge jig is a nice bonus for cabinet work. The material feels sturdy enough for regular shop use, and the layout is easy to follow even if you’re not a pro. It’s not fancy, but it’s accurate, convenient, and saves time on projects. For the price, getting both jigs in one tool is a solid deal. Five stars from me.

“Makes a nice edge”

I have used this one time so far and it worked well

“Does the job; light duty”

For $15, it does the trick. Nothing fancy; if you want something heavy-duty, then you should probably buy something more expensive, but I needed it to do light jobs, which worked out fine.

“Hold's good.”

Fit perfect and hold good. For the average Diys these will work great. Probly should not over tighten.

About TANYO tools

Jigs that put the hole in the right place

Most cabinet work is drilling the same hole in the same spot again and again. The TANYO cabinet hardware jig clamps to a door or drawer front and guides the drill for handles and knobs. The shelf pin jig and hinge jig drills straight rows of shelf-pin holes and 35 mm concealed hinge cups. The router corner radius templates give eighteen repeatable radius and chamfer profiles. Every one is CNC-machined aluminium with laser-cut scales, so the numbers stay readable after years in sawdust.

For stairs, shelves and sills, the stair tread template tool opens from 8 to 60 inches and copies the real angle of both walls onto the board, so the tread fits on the first cut.

Holding work on a dog-hole bench

Bench dog clamps and 12-packs of aluminium bench dogs fit standard 3/4 inch (19 mm) holes with pads that don't mark the wood. Corner clamps hold frames at 90° while the glue sets, and a 360° mini vise grips small parts for detail work.

Car kit that keeps your ride ready

In the boot: a portable tire inflator to 150 PSI that stops by itself, an 8000 Pa cordless handheld vacuum, wheel lock clamps for trailers and campers and a steering wheel lock. On the garage floor: a strut spreader and control arm pry set and jack stand pads that protect pinch welds.
